Senior Pastor, Michael Snearly, will be on a week long trip to San Francisco, CA, to begin work on a PhD. Over the next several years, Snearly will take classes at Golden Gate Theological Seminary (GGTS) via the Internet. Several times a year, Snearly will have to visit the GGTS campus. The majority of the time he is able to communicate with his professors and classmates via video conferencing and email.
The VSBC congregation unanimously passed a resolution several months ago to affirm Sneary’s decision to continue his education this way. The resolution included endorsing a letter of recommendation to GGTS and continued prayer support for Snearly and his family.
