Furnaces had to be turned on to take a slight coolness out of the building on this Sunday morning, meaning Fall has arrived in Louisville.

The worship service opened when Deacon Betty Jeffries read Psalm 14 and said a prayer. Worship Pastor Chris Wells stepped up to the microphone and led the gathered in song.

After a short time of welcome, a time when members and guests greet each other with hugs and handshakes, Associate Pastor Chris Moss gave some announcements and said a pastoral prayer

  • Accepting donations for a second trip to Freedom Center Ministries in Lynch, KY
  • Operation Christmas Child packing day is November 13, 2013 in the Fellowship Hall. Members and guests are invited to help with packing and to hear a testimony from Nicki Johnson, a volunteer who has delivered shoe boxes directly to the children.

Noah Wright read Colossians 1:9-14 before the congregation sang more hymns and song.

Deacon Donnie Aebersold said an offertory prayer, then everyone sang Our Song From Age to Age while the offering was collected.
