Members and guests of Vine Street Baptist Church celebrated the first day of the new year with worship in song and study of the Word. The service began with Deacon Joe Gross reading Psalm 47, then saying an opening prayer. Interim Worship Leader, Charlie Moore, invited the gathered to stand and sing songs.

Everyone enjoyed several minutes of greeting each other, then Associate Pastor Dustin Bruce presented a few announcements and said a pastoral prayer. Moore led a few more songs before the offering was collected.

Deacon Donnie Aebersold said a prayer before the time of offering, and Moore sang To Christ the Lord while the plates were passed.
