Another cold, January day could not keep members and guests from attending worship at Vine Street Baptist Church.
The service opened with Deacon Mickie Bainter reading Psalm 139:1-12 and saying a prayer. Co-Worship Leaders Jacob and Jaime Hatcher led the gathered in worship songs:

- Christ is Risen
After a time of fellowship, Associate Pastor Ken Lovett presented a few announcements and prayer concerns:
- Today’s sermon begins a new series.
- The Pastor Search Committee is meeting later in the day and requests everyone to be in prayer
- Offering envelopes are available
- Jackets with the Vine Street logo are available for ordering
- Prayer concerns
Doug Hanna read Matthew 11:28-30, then the congregation continued in song before Deacon Donnie Aebersold said a prayer for the offering.
