March 15, 2020  – This is the first week that the building was closed to the general population due to COVID-19 concerns.  The service was streamed on Facebook Live.  The entire recording is included. 

The story of Herod shows us that God’s plan cannot be thwarted and that God will not share his glory.

  • God’s plan cannot be thwarted Acts 12:1-11;18-19;24
    • Application: we can trust that God’s plan for us cannot be twarted.
  • God will not share his glory Acts 12:20-23
    • Application: we should take time to think and repent of the ways that we do not rightly view God
    • Application: if you are not trusting in Jesus for your sins than your fate will be worse than Herod’s. Jesus died to save us from our sins.
